Last September 19, 2009, the 2nd year level together with the Environmental Education Elective class of the 4th year level participated in the 24th International Coastal Clean-up held in various parts of the Philippines and all over the world.  The group went to San Dionisio, Paranaque for the clean-up.  This is part of the PALIHAN activities of the year level concerning the environment.

A CALL TO COMPASSIONATE ACTION:  LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE

On September 26, 2009, typhoon Ondoy came to the Philippines.  Lives were taken and properties were destroyed.

For the past few days, St. Theresa’s College, Q.C. has conducted a relief operation and  receiving donations for the many communities who are in grave need of food and other supplies.  Students, teachers and parents assist in receiving, packing and distributing the supplies. The supplies have reached the communities of Bukluran, Lumot Agno, GK Sto. Domingo, Tatalon, Matutum, GK Don Manuel, Camarin, Tahanang Walang Hagdan and more.  STC has also extended help to the members of the Theresian community, bringing goods and supplies to the families of our students, teachers and personnel who have been affected by the calamity.   The school is open 24 hours to receive donations in kind or in cash.

We recognize and thank the people who have offered their goods, services, and time to this advocacy of St. Theresa’s College, Q.C.

LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE and BE A BLESSING TO OTHERS!
