SINAG-Primary Chorale’s Mass Assistance at Sta. Teresita Parish, Q.C.
September 25, 2009

The SINAG-Primary Chorale, under the supervision of Mrs. Maria Corazon Madonna Paraan,
Grades 5 & 6 Music Teacher, sang during the Eucharistic Celebration in honor of the
Feast of St. Therese of the Child Jesus on Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, 6:00 P.M. at Sta. Teresita Parish, Kanlaon St., Q.C. The group consisted of students from Grades 1 to 3.

Grade 6 Parent-Daughter Bonding
September 11, 14, 16, 17 & 18, 2009

The graduating class of the Grade School Department paid tribute to their parents by having a Parent-Daughter Bonding Session. This was held at the GS AVR on September 11, 14, 16, 17 & 18, 2009. The activities prepared by their counselor, Ms. Flores, gave them the chance tounderstand one another better.

STC QC - Claret School QC Social Interaction

The second year and third year high school students will have a social interaction with the students of Claret School of Quezon City on the following dates:  September 14-18 and 25 for the second year; September 22-24, 28 and 29 for the third year.  This activity aims to provide the students a venue wherein they can learn more about themselves and to sharpen their social, interpersonal, creativity, and leadership skills as they interact with the complementary gender.

Potential Leaders’ Enhancement Activity

The High School Guidance Center will hold a Potential Leaders’ Enhancement Activity entitiled:  “Eliciting My Gifts Within:  I Have What It Takes To Lead” on September 19, 2009 at the H.S. Multi-Purpose Room.  It aims to help students gain confidence, to overcome fear, and eventually elicit their potential to become leaders.

PAJITA 2nd  Regional Competition in Computer

In the recent Philippine Association of Junior IT Achievers (PAJITA) held last September 6, 2009, the STC contingent comprised of Samantha Gonzales of IV-4, Andrea Alcancia of IV-1, and Katrina Donato of IV-3 placed second in the IT Mind Challenge (Quiz Bee)

Ateneo Schools Debate Championship

In the just concluded Ateneo Schools Debate Championship held at the De La Salle University last September 9-13, STC’s Team B comprised of Analiza Kiat of III-4, Miyuki Morishita of IV-1, and Beatriz Lozada of IV-4 qualified for the octofinals ranking 6th out of 80 teams from 6 different countries namely Korea, Qatar, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines.

PARENT – DAUGHTER BONDING: A Closer Look at Teenage life

• The First Year Parent-Daughter activity with the theme “Parents 'Love Lasts Forever” aims to highlight the importance of parental love and support in dealing with teens who seek acceptance and independence.

Talk on Human Sexuality for the Third Year Level

• The social changes and technologies have created new sets of influences and experiences for children and young people.  One of the most sensitive areas of concern relates to sexuality.  It is in this regard that the HS Guidance Center in cooperation with the TLE area spearheaded a Talk on Human Sexuality for third year students.  It was held on July 10, 2009 at the HS IMC.  Mrs. Ma. Julieta Wasan, the executive director of PRO-LIFE Philippines,  was the resource speaker.
