Mother Marie Louise De Meester founded the Religious - Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (ICM) in Mulagumoodu, India in 1897. Born on April 8, 1857 in Roeselare, a coastal town in Belgium, Maria grew up to be a talented young lady with a love for the missions. At age 22, she joined the Canonesses of St. Augustine in leper, Belgium, where she received the religious name, Dame Marie Louise.

SEFI CAR RAFFLE-FUND RAISING PROJECT : TWIN WIN

The Sambayan Education Foundation Inc. or SEFI has been helping deserving but financially- challenged young persons get a Theresian education for the past 36 year. More than 3,000-supported students have graduated from St. Theresa’s College, QC, with a substancial number of them receiving scholastic honors.

This year, SEFI is embarking on a raffle promotion activity to raise funds for the students’ education. Entitled “Twin Win”, this raffle promotion will give YOU the chance to win fabulous prizes like cars and it will also allow YOU to help give a quality Theresian education to deserving students.

Ten raffle ticket worth P250 each of P2,500 in total will be given to every Theresian family and we are enjoining everyone to help us sell these to their friends and relatives. Enclosed are your 10 tickets. There will be two draw dates: October 25, for the mini draw and December 12 for the grand draw. There will also be prizes to be won by students who will be able to sell their allocation of 10 tickets!

This year’s Family day has the theme, “Pamilyang Teresa: Sama-sama sa pagkalinga kay Inang Kalikasan.” The Family Day is an annual event that showcases the dancing talent of the Grade School students and the creative dance productions of the High School students. There are also Bingo games, fun rides, exciting games and food booths for the whole family to enjoy. An ecological concert by Sugarfree, Silent Sanctuary and the Family Council Chorale highlight the afternoon’s event.
