Dayuhan ay naaliw,

Ako ay Pilipino,
Ipinagmamalaki ko kahit kanino.
Wika ko ay Filipino,
Gamit ko saan man magtungo
Masarap manirahan,
Sa sariling tirahan,
Sa bayan kong malaya,
Dama mo ang tunay na ligaya.
Ang bayan kong Pilipinas,
Mahal kong bansang may yamang likas,
Pilipinas na dapat kong mahalin,
Ipagmalaki at pagyamanin.

A tap of encouragement

Why do they nurture my soul?
I just wonder
What does she possess inside her?
What is with a mother?
A mother believes
A mother understands
A mother relieves
A mother stands
No matter what-
A mother loves.
She knows how

Someone to laugh with, perhaps to shed some tears
A person who's been with you all through the years.
Someone to shelter you from days that are cold
A shoulder to lean on, a warm hand to hold.
An arm to catch if you slip and fall
And an ear for your problems whenever you call.
Someone to share your giggles and screams
A person to tell all your secrets and dreams.
Someone to hug when you're happy or sad
To just be there in the good times or bad.
A person with whom you don't have to pretend
These are the jobs of a very best friend.

Kailangan bang maging makata?
Kailangan bang magaling kumanta?
Kailangan bang maging sikat?
At ano ang aking magagawa?
Sa aking kapwa, ako'y magiging mapagkawanggawa
Sa aking gawain, itataguyod ko ang pagiging mapaglikha.
Sa aking pananalita paggalang lagi ang nasa diwa.
Hindi ba't yan ang habilin ng ating pambansang dakila?

Lahat ng kaalamang natala sa mga aklatan
Sa tulong ng wika naisulat nang buong linaw
Nauunawaaan ng lahat dahil sa wikang bayan.
Sa pagkakalakalan at pakikipag-ugnayan
Wika pa rin ang gamit na tunay
Maging ang aralin sa silid-aklatan
Sa tulong ng wika'y ganap na mauunawaan.
Mga mag-aaral na may murang isipan
Dapat malaman ang kahalagahan ng wika ng bayan
Ito'y paunlarin, gamitin, at pakamahaling tunay
Maipagmalaki sa ating isipan landas sa tagumpay.
