The ABM, HUMSS and GA students of the Physical Science Class of Ms. Joam Villavert made it the history books of STCQC because of the success of AGHAMON 2017, the very first inter school quiz bee sponsored by the senior high students.

AGHAMON, a coined term from two Filipino words - Agham (which means Science) and hamon (which means challenge) - is an academic event open to grade 5 & 6 students of private and public schools, that aims to show how engaging the subject of Science really is, and how challenges in life can become stepping stones to success.

AGHAMON 2017 was indeed a success. For the STCQC senior high students, it was the culmination of months of planning and preparation… it was their moment to shine as they executed their plans well to the delight and appreciation of everyone; for the participating schools, it was an opportunity for them to be creative and to collaborate with their team members as they took on every single challenge that was given to them. All the contestants gave impressive performances, but as in any competition there were those who stood out.

2nd Runner Up – Elizabeth Seton School, Las Piñas 
1st Runner Up – Dr. A Albert Elementary School
Champion – St. Scholastica’s College, Manila

Congratulations to Ms. Joam Villavert of the Science Area and to all the Grade 11 Physical Science students for this milestone.
