The Saint Theresa’s College of Quezon City community gathered on January 5, 2026, for a meaningful Eucharistic Celebration in observance of the Feast of the Epiphany, marking the beginning of the new year and the return to school. Anchored on the theme “Epiphany: God’s Language in Our Lives,” the celebration invited the community to recognize how God continually reveals Himself through His Word, through life’s experiences, and through the people we encounter each day. Presided over by Rev. Fr. Vinz Anthony Aurellano, SSP, the Mass drew inspiration from the journey of the Magi, reminding the faithful that God’s light guides all who sincerely seek Him.
In his homily, Fr. Aurellano emphasized that the Epiphany is not merely a historical event but a continuing call for every Christian today. Like the Magi, believers are invited to search for Christ with open and attentive hearts, to give something for Christ through generous service and self-offering, and to change for Christ by allowing their encounter with Him to transform their lives. The Magi’s choice to return home by another way highlighted that a true encounter with Christ always leads to conversion and a renewed way of living.
Following the celebration, Dr. Maria Teresa C. Bayle, School Director, shared an inspirational New Year message that echoed the spirit of the Epiphany. She reminded the community that the new year is a time for renewal, rebirth, and newness, encouraging everyone to embrace a change in perspective as a way to experience true growth. Dr. Bayle called on Theresians to remain hopeful, practice kindness, stay curious, and remain rooted in love, while continuously striving to create, innovate, and make a meaningful impact. Her message challenged the community to move forward with purpose, faith, and compassion, allowing God’s light to guide their actions throughout the year.
As the celebration concluded, the STCQC community was encouraged to carry the light of Christ into their daily lives, becoming witnesses of hope, faith, and service as they journey together through the new year.
