On September 20, 2025, Saint Theresa’s College of Quezon City proudly participated in the 40th International Coastal Clean-Up Drive held at Baseco Beach, Manila. Together with thousands of volunteers across the country, STCQC joined the worldwide effort to protect and preserve marine ecosystems.
Students, faculty, and staff members of STCQC worked diligently to collect and segregate waste materials along the shoreline of Baseco, one of the most recognized coastal clean-up sites in the Philippines. The activity not only contributed to the reduction of marine litter but also served as a concrete expression of the institution’s commitment to environmental stewardship and community service.
Through this initiative, STCQC emphasizes the importance of ecological awareness and responsibility among its students. The coastal clean-up provided the Theresian community with a meaningful opportunity to put their values into action, reinforcing the school’s mission of forming individuals who are responsive to the needs of society and the environment.
The 40th International Coastal Clean-Up Drive underscores the power of collective responsibility in addressing global environmental challenges. By taking part in this movement at Baseco, STCQC affirms its role in shaping a sustainable future—proving that small actions, when done together, can create a lasting impact.
