SENIOR HIGH THERESIANS VISIT GOOGLE PH

The Grade 11 and Grade 12 Theresians of the Digital Marketing and Introduction to Advertising classes visited and explored Google Philippines at their headquarters at the Net Park Building, Bonifacio Global City last Thursday, September 20. The students were all ears as Ms. Kristine Bag-o of Google Ph, talked about the different platforms that Google currently offers as well as what the public can expect from Google in the future.

The highlight of the visit which was the tour of the Google Ph office, elicited oohs and aahs from the students as they marveled at the office interiors which reflect the company’s philosophy, “to create the happiest, most productive workplace in the world”.

The students were awed and mesmerized by the floor-to-ceiling glass wall at the office lobby that framed Manila’s urban jungle, the buffet style gourmet cafeteria which served mouth-watering food, the Filipino-themed conference rooms and offices, the quirky yet comfortable furniture, and the Google build-up signages situated on the floor and on the ceiling (which of course did not escape the girls’ eyes for a photo-op).

This educational trip to Google Ph is an experience that the senior high students of the Digital Marketing and Introduction to Advertising classes will remember and appreciate for a long time, thanks to the initiative of their dedicated teacher, MS. KANKAN RAMOS, COO of a Digital Marketing Agency and an STCQC Alumna HS’92.
