THERESIAN WINS 1ST PLACE IN THE FAMILY ROSARY CRUSADE NATIONWIDE CREATIVE CONTEST

Grade 8 student, Nicolette Bernice Zoleta, bags the 1st Place Award in the Grade 8 Category - Poetry Writing in the recently concluded ,” TRY PRAYER. IT WORKS! 2016 “, a nationwide creative contest on poetry, prose, and arts sponsored by the Family Rosary Crusade.

Nicolette’s poem entitled, “A Mother’s Love”, bested hundreds of other entries from other grade 8 students from all over the country.  Nicolette received a medal, a certificate of recognition, and cash prize. Her English teacher and mentor, Ms. Pauline Alvarez, received the plaque of appreciation on behalf of the school. The awarding ceremony was held on the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary last October 7, 2016 at the Pius XII Catholic Center in Manila.

 Congratulations, Nicolette! Continue to hold on to Mother Mary for guidance, as you shine and be a blessing to others.
